Payment
One-time projects generally require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining balance is due before final launch or delivery. Monthly services are paid in advance. Work may be paused for overdue payments.
These principles explain how projects work. Your individual service agreement confirms the exact scope, fees and terms.
One-time projects generally require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining balance is due before final launch or delivery. Monthly services are paid in advance. Work may be paused for overdue payments.
Unless otherwise stated, one-time projects include two revision rounds. A round means one consolidated list of requested changes. Additional revisions, major direction changes or work outside the agreed scope may require additional payment.
Provide requested information, content, access, approvals and files in a timely manner. You are responsible for accuracy and for having permission to use all submitted logos, images, videos, music, testimonials, written content and other materials.
Timelines begin only after required payment, content, access and information are received. Client delays may extend completion dates. Extended inactivity may require project rescheduling.
Unless explicitly included, clients pay for domains, hosting, website platform subscriptions, paid plugins, premium software, scheduling tools, ecommerce fees, payment processing, advertising spend and third-party integrations. Whenever practical, these accounts should be owned and paid directly by the client.
Sales, leads, followers, website traffic, search rankings, social reach, advertising performance and revenue are not guaranteed. Digital marketing and online performance depend on many factors outside the service provider’s control.
Monthly services require 30 days’ notice to cancel unless otherwise specified in the client agreement.
Final ownership of completed custom deliverables transfers after full payment, except for third-party software, fonts, templates, stock assets, platform components, licensed materials and other assets governed by separate licenses.
Deposits reserve project time. Once substantial project work has begun, deposits are generally non-refundable. Eligibility depends on the individual service agreement and work already completed.
